Peristaltic pumps depend upon the occlusion/restitution cycle to perform the positive displacement pumping action. Pumping is initiated by squeezing the tubing flat then allowing it to return round again creating vacuum, making these pumps self-priming to 28 feet elevation. Watson-Marlow offers the widest range of peristaltic pumps, capable of handling a flow range from 0.0027 to 5.865gph, and handling pressures of up to 100 psi. With no seals, valves, or moving parts in the flow path, the risk of clogging, leaking or contamination is eliminated. there are Several options of tubing materials available for your application which will be determined by chemical compatibility and suitability.
